Royal Tournaments

    


We are encouraging secondary Authorizations for all combatants on all the list fields. Accordingly, We shall be sponsoring specialty weapons clinics and tournaments.

Royal Tournaments
Their Majesties will determine the tournament formats based on attendance and hall space.
Pole Arm: Wassail

Spear Tournament:  Septentrian 12th Night

In a truly inspiring duel, Duke Roak was victorious over second place winner, Sir Nigel Macfarlane.
Congratulations to third place winner, Lord Quilliam. Sir Nigel also delivered an informative advanced spear class on
use of both the 9 foot and 6 foot spear.
 

Two Weapon:

Congratulations to tournament winner Duke Roak, who by using sword & poleaxe proved
that two weapon doesn't have to be two swords. Second place was won by Count Kildare Silverwolf, and third
place by THL Tarquin Bjornnson.

Pole Arm:

Congratulations to Tournament Winner THL Naga, 2nd place to Duke Roak, and 3rd to
Lord Kellen. An inspiring performance by Sir Edward the Red, undefeated in the round robin.

Great Sword: Count Sir Edward the Red won first place in a large field of participants at Spring War College. Duke Sir Roak won
second place, and Lord Kellen earned third place.

Melee Adept Search:

Many were the mighty deeds done on the battlefield at Winter War. Three unbelted fighters distinguished themselves:
THL Wat of Sarum, Lord Kellen, and Lord Alex. Among the Chivalry, excellent leadership and on the field deeds were
performed by Duke Edouard Beausoliel, Duke Roak and Count Edward the Red. Also, a visitor from the Middle
Kingdom, Sergeant Guillame Le Breton, rose to the challenge of being Warlord of the King's team and We
commend him for his honourable actions on the field of battle.

Rapier:

Baron Hoskuld Thorlieksson earned First Place in the Royal Rapier Tournament after a full and exhausting
day of fencing. Congratulations to second place winner, Sir Edward the Red and third place winner THL Albrecht Stampfer.

Chess:

Chess Tournament: At Septentrian 12th Night a chess tournament was held. The victor, Lord Raffe
Scholemaystre was undefeated throughout the double elimination tournment. Lord Tirian the Wanderer took
second place with his careful defense and stunning attacks, but could not escape the cunningly laid traps of Lord Raffe.
